FEIS for the Permanent Stationing of the
2/25th Stryker Brigade Combat Team

On February 22, 2008, the U.S. Army and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency published notices in the Federal Register (Army Notice link and EPA Notice link) that announced the availability of the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the Permanent Stationing of the 2/25th Stryker Brigade Combat Team (SBCT). This FEIS examines three alternative Army installations capable of supporting the permanent stationing of the 2/25th SBCT.

The FEIS is also available for review at several public libraries in Hawaii, Alaska, and Colorado. The libraries that have received the FEIS are listed here.

The Department of the Army's Notice of Availability (NOA) was published in the Federal Register on February 22, 2008, and can be read here.

The Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) NOA and acknowledgement of receipt of the Final EIS can be read here.

The Army anticipates a decision on the implementation of the Proposed Action in March 2008. At that time, we will notify the public of the final decision for the Proposed Action.
